Default GIF makers

any one know any gif-makers a 13 yr old can learn to use?

Doesn't have to be a gif...can just be a video (i think he's gonna draw sequence of images)

Most good photo editors can do it. Try GIMP. Not the simplest program to use but if he really wants to learn, there's no reason not to try and learn it.

Why would he need to learn it in a week? Having tried searching on Google? There might be online GIF converters.

Why in the world is a 13 year old being required to create a gif for school? If it's a requirement that he do it, then the teacher should have provided a resource to do so IMO.

I don't know why would you have "trust issues" with using an online gif creator. Just scan the resulting image with your anti-virus after downloading it.

no its not a requirement...sorry i should have been more descriptive.

THe teacher wants the assn/proj to move away frmo a traditional .ppt / .word layout. I was talking to him about animations before and he thought he could do an animation.
He originally thought about 3dsmax, but he hasn't started using it yet.

....don't have anti-virus on his computer.
