Default The Vehicle Thread

Rather then making a shitload of threads about the subject we might as well wrap it up into one.

As most of you know I'm a motorcycle person currently owning a Yamaha Yzf R-125 (I'm not riding it as the damn things been in the shop for the last 3 weeks getting new engine bearings) But I'm taking my test on Friday and therefore getting rid of the pile of crap for a 600cc. I'll tell you which one when I decide right now there's about 12 options.

So what cars/bikes/whatever are you currently using?

I have a 2004 Blue Honda Civic Coupe, the specs: automatic transmission, 1.7 liter, 4 cylinder, spoiler, air conditioning, 2 door. Great car, I've had it for a few months. It had roughly 84 k miles on it when I got it, I've put about 2 k on it myself. Its in beautiful condition and I aim to keep it that way for as long as I own it. Also, unlike my previous car I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking down for a while as long as I keep up with the basic maintenance, it's great on gas. The only thing that I have a problem with on this car is that there is no tachometer, although since it's an automatic transmission I don't really need it, it's just a nice thing to help keep track of the r.p.m.s .

My old red 98 Dodge Dakota is dying. It's parts are giving up the ghost and failing left and right so I have purchased a Ford F-150 4wd for my winter driving. I know, it's gas milage isnt so great at 20 mpg highway, but during the winter, it is better than my Mustang sliding into a ditch

2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.7 V8. It's had some accessories added to it since I got it. Picture below was right after purchase.

It was basically the newest used truck you could get. Less than 900 miles on it, I got 57K on there now. Dealer demo so it had a lot of the gadgets installed. Not what I wanted but you couldn't turn down the deal on this truck!

This truck replaced my old 98 Dodge Ram 4X4 which replaced the previous 94 Dodge Dakota.

Maybe next year I'll get one of the new Dodge Rams. Debating on a new 1500, the Power Wagon I really always wanted, or maybe a standard 2500.

Got a 2004 Ford Taurus to do my daily 80 mile trip to work last spring as well.

2006 Dodge Magnum R/T, that's the 5.7 Hemi. Has 14000 miles onit. It too needs an alignment. I've only had a problem with the shifter getting locked in park, got it towed and repaired in the same day.
I absolutly love the thing, it's large and fast (130 mph with about 1500 lbs of people and gear in it).
The newest add is an 08 Nissan Rouge for the Mrs. It's one of them crossover things. It grows on ya with some of the nice features and whatnot.
I'm planning on getting some performance parts and remote starters for both cars very soon, but for now both cars are stock.

I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota with 160,000 miles on it. It still runs great if you don't mind the stalling and the lack of heat, but hey its paid for.

Paid cash for a 2005 Mustang V6, Straight black, no spoiler, no ping stripes. Was my baby! Insurance kicked my ass to hi hell. This is an actual picture of mine. You'll notice my college buddy's GT in the background.

I traded it in for a 2002 Ford Exporer Sport Trac V6 and got 2000 back in cash with the trade. Did this a few years ago.

Excellent! What tires are you using? I've got to replace the rock hard BFG T/A's soon, and would like something stickier.

Problem is that they're T/A's, they're all season tires. They don't heat up at all, especially when it is cold out.

I'm picking up a set of Dunlop Durezzas, most likely, for the AutoX season, keeping my all seasons for the street (I see no reason getting rid of a perfectly good set of tires.)

Some good street summers are something like the Goodyear Eagle F1 (expensive though), BFG g-force sport, Yokohama AVS ES100, Potenza RE760 (i had a pair of these before my all seasons), and there are expensive options, like pilot sport ps2s, etc etc.

The better question is, where the HELL do you store that many cars? Do you live out in the middle of nowhere, or have your own personal junkyard? lol
