Default What Do you Like / What you want to do

Hey Guys! Was thinking what you like to eat? Doesn't means that you necesarilly know how to cook it. Maybe I can help / practice with some ideas you want. Will help me improve my imagination and skills (not that I have any but, just saying!).

Will help a picture of the dish. Or maybe just an idea you wanted to try but couldn't find on internet or restaurants.

For the record, I suck at desserts...!

mail me smoe good chipotle sauce.

if your looking to branch out:
This is my all-time favorite dish (sze/sichuan or taiwan)
紅燒牛肉麵 / "red braised beef noodle soup"

Not sure about these recipes tho (avoid using tomato /ketchup flavor that some people add)
I prefer my Mom's style (which doesn't use carrots/radish...that'lll prolly add a sweet taste to it , & fuck u tallgeese!)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beef_noodle_soup
http://www.seriouseats.com/2014/01/t...odle-soup.html
http://www.chinasichuanfood.com/braised-beef-noodles/
http://www.eatingchina.com/recipes/r...oodle-soup.htm

---
2 others you can try
[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandan_noodles
(sesame/peanut sauce is a MUST! but do not lose the spiciness) I think the version i prefer is the Taiwanese

sorry i don't know much about the recipe but this was the quickest one i found
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...es-recipe.html
http://chinesefood.about.com/od/nood...an-noodles.htm

[2] i can't find the translation but will paste when i find it, my 2nd favorite dish (its a shredded/peeled chicken wtih shallots and rice)

---
others you can try
* korean style ribs (i think its side ribs, or the one sliced across teh bones)
* vietnamese pho
* scalllop & shrimp pasta
* moroccan spiced food is delicious (lamb)
* seafood cantonese fried noodles

Ah this ones a pretty good one (singapore/malay)
Laksa shrimp and noodles
(this is the sauce we buy)
http://www.primataste.com.sg/store-d...ID=22&CatID=17
If your looking from scratch
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laksa

(i suggest buying the sauce brand to get the taste ...and then trying it from scratch)

finally found it....(taiwanese dish)
http://www.curiousnut.com/food/taiwanese-chicken-rice/
http://taiwanomnom.tumblr.com/post/1...en-rice-recipe

WITHOUT the soy and fish sauce

the basic idea is simmering chicken in a shallot type waterbase
and then pouring that base onto rice

ASAP I'll make a pic with all the stuff I have prepared last year or so. So you choose which one you'll want me to put recipe on... just will say it will be mostly of Pasta, Risottos, meat, seafood and some other stuff. Sorry, no desserts... you can add me to on Facebook. Look for Jorge Butron. You'll see RACA in my nicks. Most of the dishes are Public so you don't need to wait me to add you. Just leave me a message your nick in DEX. For now... be cool!!!

on a more serious tone, I love eating all types of food but I have to say Chinese food in Toronto is the best Chinese food in the world. Nobody comes close, not even San Fran, NYC, Vancouver or even Chinese food in China. Ok, so I've only been to the south, but Southern Chinese cuisine is said to be the best.

oh god no. Taiwanese food is quite disgusting. I've been to Taiwan and had it there too. So bad on so many levels, but they do make good dumplings.

if u enjoy making pancake types RACA.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pancakes

i recently found the korean version (past 3 years)
the seafood version is delicious.

The true onion pancake is hard to make (7 layer pancake, about 0.5cm tall, really thin layers)
