Default NBA 2017

wow could it be mia v cle playoff series? can't believe MIA hasn't tanked yet.

Wow Westbrook is insane...wonder if he'll have anything in the tank left.

One man teams actually do pretty well in the playoffs, especially if they get superstar treatment from the refs (Jordan, Lebron, and Kobe are prime examples).

I thought the raps wouldn't be able to hold the fort, but they've gone 6 wins in a row. Lowry looking to be back but i'm hopeful we can play 600 basketball the rest of the way.

they did go a string of likr 4-5 losses before than....sucks that JV is getting limited minutes but at least they now have a triple-towers sort.

Can't believe Boston is up there.

Boston still ahead of the cavs and it would be hilarious if they forced the 7 seed to play lebron and crew.

Go Cavs!!!!!!! I have been wearing my Cavs shirt for the games..... I'm going to Cleveland on the 20th. No way I could afford (tickets won't be available anyway) to go to a game....

Rocket....Spurs without Leonard crushing HOU by 40!!!!!! SWEET.

Spurs in 6 against GS (if leonard returns...prolly GS in 6 if he doesn't)
BOS/WASH in 7 against CLE....gortat will pound lebron!

omg, the god damn spurs have no chance against golden state now that leonard is somewhat injured. GS is a different beast than houston.

JJ it's just usually bait and i yelling at each other in the sports section these days. Glad to know there are other lurkers but these are the times at dexworld.

yelling is putting it mildly!!!

They've discovered that Simmons can D'up against harden , so he can probably handle Klay and maybe put a dent in Curry. With Green or Leonard covering up the other. Not sure I like the Leonard v Durant...I think they're resources will be better used with Leonard on Curry or Green.

Leonard Green Simmons against Klay, Curry, GReen.
---
When you play Lebron , you don't cover lebron you cover everyoen else
like Kobe he doesn't get rattled.

When you play Curry, he's amazing but he chokes at times and you can get under his skin. and GS lives/dies by curry.

If warriors shoot less then 40% from 3pt...i think its Spurs series.
And remember Kerr might be out...and apparenlty he's probably the best player/coach
every to be in the NBA.

well they did what I said and injured Leonard so I guess this series is toast. Durant is a much better offensive weapon than Klay, but on this team, everyone gets a chance to succeed as long as they execute.

love it when the commentators do replays and their like "that clearly wasn't a foul..or the miss travel call on Aldridge...funny shit.

if Mills didn't go 0-8 ...spurs would have won.
---------------
Pachulia play dirty or not?

looked like he went for the block and decided to put his foot out... rather than
do what normal shotblockers do (land with your feed under you)

wouldn't have won other wise.
Leonard is too much like Timmy. Goes back to the BOwen days when they called him dirty

just sucks that they didn't need Durant to win...even against Lebron ...now Klay doesn't even get the ball.

spurs were up by 20

Yeah this finals is looking like a joke. The games haven't really been close. Durant is playing out of this world. Will win mvp.

Does the NBA have a salary cap? It looks like they can afford a lot more high dollar guys and therefore nobody else can compete? They draw from a much larger population center and I'm sure have a great deal more money. This is like when one team is stacked in DOD......

I'm bummed.... I hope the direction changes in the next game.

they do....but when your best player is 4th on teh payroll...u can stack a team....
and the rest of their roster makes piddly.

warriors weren't a high profile team since Hardaway / Mullin and Sprewell .
and don't pay a "high profile" star...which is sad because with Curry's skillset
he should be making lots....but 4-5 years ago his type of height/style wasn't valued as much.

its depressing, i still don't think they need Durant to win (he makes them near unstoppable tho) but he makes 2x as much as Curry. Curry will hopefully get a big payday soon.

And iguodala took a severe pay cut.

lol Durant makes 26M and livingston makes 5M and all the other bench players are 2M or less.
